Overview
The Story Mention automation in InfluenciMax allows you to start a flow automatically whenever your account is mentioned in an Instagram Story.
This feature makes support easier, strengthens the relationship with your audience, and speeds up replies whenever someone tags your profile in a Story.

Before you start
Before configuring the automation, check whether:
- Your Instagram account is correctly connected to InfluenciMax.
- You have access to the platform Dashboard.
- The automation will be used on an account connected to InfluenciMax.
Step by step
Creating a new automation
In the InfluenciMax Dashboard, click Create Automation to open the flow editor.
Accessing the Story Mention block
Inside the editor, locate the Story Mention block and select this option.
This block will automatically identify when a user mentions your profile in an Instagram Story and start the automation.
Configuring the next step
After adding the Story Mention block, click Next Step.
Now choose which actions will run when your account is mentioned.
You can add any available step in the platform, such as:
- Send a message in Direct.
- Thank the user for the mention.
- Share a link.
- Start an automated support flow.
- Send the user to another flow.
The actions will run automatically whenever a new mention is identified.
Finishing the automation
After configuring all desired steps, connect the last action to the End block.
When the flow reaches the End block, the automation will finish after running all configured actions.
How it works
When a user publishes a Story mentioning your profile:
- InfluenciMax identifies the mention.
- The automation starts automatically.
- The flow runs the configured actions.
- The user receives the message or support defined in the flow.
The entire process happens automatically, without needing to start the support interaction manually.
If something does not work
The automation did not start
Check:
- Whether the automation was published.
- Whether the Instagram account is connected correctly.
- Whether the Story Mention block was used as the start of the flow.
The message was not sent
Confirm:
- Whether there is a message-sending step after the Story Mention block.
- Whether all flow connections were configured correctly.
- Whether the changes were saved before publishing.
The flow did not reach the end
Review:
- Whether all steps are connected correctly.
- Whether the last step is connected to the End block.
- Whether there are disconnected blocks in the automation.
Expected result
With the Story Mention automation configured in InfluenciMax, whenever a user mentions your profile in an Instagram Story, the platform will automatically start the created flow.
The configured actions will run without manual intervention, making support faster, more organized, and more efficient.
